The Budding Rose Art Gallery & Clayworks, (a non-profit gallery for amateur artists of all ages) was recognized in 1999 by “Discovery — America’s Promise Program”, a national initiative for America’s youth — also gets notoriety in local and national magazines. The gallery sponsors an annual art show for the school children and has hosted several live concerts in the 100 year old historic building. 2002 marked the first year the Budding Rose Art Scholarship was awarded to students at the Rosalia School.
