Ownership History

The original owner of the Central Service Station (Texaco Products) was Cecil Palmer who opened the station in 1923.  In 1925 E.W. Swedin & S.E. Hunter were service station attendants of the Central Service Station

It's unclear if E.W. Swedin & S.E. Hunter became owners, but in the Whitman County Washington Directory of 1939 there is a quarter page advertisement for the following:

"Central Service Station, your headquarters since 1925 E. W. Swedin and S.E. Hunter. Texaco Certified Service, Registered Rest Rooms, Firestone Products, Phone 010, Rosalia, Wash."

In 1939 the phone book listed Elmer W. Swedin living in the Home City Hotel (now the Budding Rose Art Gallery) and Sam E. Hunter lived at 537 Whitman, Rosalia, WA
